The cylinder head is often overlooked as a potential
source for power improvement with pipes, cams and big bores often the only
items to receive attention. Combustion chamber & port shapes are an
integral part of the power improvement path.

Epicycle
Ducati 4V Performance Camshafts

These Epicycle camshafts have been
designed using the latest in CAD (computer aided design) software from
data acquired during many track & dyno hours.
The cam blanks are precision CNC machined
from chrome-moly barstock prior to the grinding of the cam
lobes & journals. Final operations involve, adding the keyway, drilling
oil & lightening holes and nitriding, a heat treatment process
which imparts a tough wear resistant surface to the finished cams.

timing & fitting instructions. Advice on piston machining requirements
is available on request.

Epicycle
Vernier Adjustable Pulleys
Epicycle adjustable cam belt pulleys
are available for all belt drive Ducatis. These pulleys have multiple vernier
keyways for their adjustment, so they're positively located to the camshaft
via the keyway, just like the original items.
Once the timing is set and recorded,
it's a simple matter to change the cam timing without resorting to degree
wheels and dial indicators again. Just look up the timing chart and then
position the key in the correct keyway in the pulley and the job's done.
Imagine how beneficial that would be at the dyno or race track.
Pulleys are available on an exchange
basis, so just send us a set of pulleys in good condition, and in return
we will mail you a set of vernier machined pulleys complete with easy to
follow timing chart.

Corvino
Valves

Corvino
valves are designed with waisted stems for high flow characteristics coupled
with very light weight without resorting to expensive, exotic materials.
Our valves are CNC machined from imported blanks then Tufftrided for high
wear resistance and low guide friction. All Corvino valves feature
a specially designed collet groove to suit our Duro collets.
Corvino valves are available
in the following sizes:
916 Inlet....34mm, 35mm, 36mm
& 37mm.
916 Exhaust....30mm, 31mm.
748 Inlet....33mm, 34mm, 35mm &
36.

Duro Valve Collets

Duro collets are designed to
withstand the stresses induced by high RPM coupled with the high valve
lift and acceleration afforded by desmodromic valve actuation.
Duro collets are machined from hardened
tool steel, are square in section and don't suffer the breakages normally
associated with the factory round wire items. Valve clearances remain within
tolerance for up to 3 times the engine hours of the factory items.

Valve guides 4V

Epicycle valve guides are manufactured from
a wear resistant aluminium bronze alloy. The port end of the guide is more
tapered than the stock items so they present less of an obstruction to
the airflow. They are available in the standard sizes and also in a range
of oversizes should the guide bores be damaged.
Special oversizes are available on request up to
a maximum diameter of 12.5mm.
Retail price is nearly half the price of the genuine
Ducati item.

Valve stem seals

Epicycle now stock 4V valve stem seals at about 25%
of the cost of genuine items. These stem seals are manufactured by the
same company that supplies the Ducati items.

Stepped Keys
Epicycle also carry a range of stepped
camshaft keys to complement our vernier pulleys.
They are available in the following

955 Big Bore kits.

High quality forged, high compression
96mm piston & nikasil cylinder kits to increase the capacity of your
916 to 955cc. Pistons are supplied with lightweight 20mm little end pins
to suit all Stradas. Pistons weigh 434grams, 36 grams lighter than the
standard Strada items.
Advise us what valve sizes, cam types
and timings you are using and we can machine the pistons ready for you
to install.
Strada cases will require machining
prior to fitting of this kit.
All gaskets are included in the kit.

AEROcranks
The FINAL word in Ducati 4V
crankshafts.
With one of these babies installed,
your engine will not only run smoother, but it will also rev harder, accelerate
faster & produce more power.
AEROcrank's unique wedge design allows
for maximum weight reduction whilst still maintaining good inertial characteristics
coupled with minimum windage drag. Individually lightened & dynamically
balanced to suit your engine specification.
The end result...... your mates will
appear smaller & smaller in your mirrors.
We do not offer AEROcranks on an exchange
basis as we cannot guarantee the quality of the exchange crankshafts. All
work may be carried out on your own crank, or alternatively, we can supply
new cranks to the same specification.
Connecting Rods.

American manufactured Carrillo™
connecting rods for 888 & 916 engines. A must when increasing the power
output of your 4 valver.
These rods are CNC machined from solid
stock, so they're strong, accurate for dimensions & weights as well
as being light. This decrease in rotating & reciprocating weights means
more power at the rear wheel.
Little known fact;
The reciprocating weight (little end)
of the Carrillo rod is the same as Titanium Pankl rod though the rotating
weight (big end) is slightly higher. Machine the equivalent big end weight
difference from the flywheel & you achieve the same result performance
wise as Titanium Pankls at about 1/3 the cost.
We supply 20mm (strada) &
21mm (SP & Corsa) little end rods.
Freccia exhaust system.

Italian made exhaust system in 50mm
stainless steel tubing with oval carbon fibre mufflers.
System is closely modelled on the
successful Arrows system & comes complete with manifold flanges, springs
& mounting straps.
